This is the chrome handle version of the Parker Variant Double Edge Safety Razor.
The Variant allows you to choose how close you want your shave to be
It has 5 settings numbers 1-5. Number 5 will deliver the closest shave, number 1 the mildest shave
In between each number is a half setting so you can tweak the setting very slightly to get a shave that's personalised to your exact requirements.
The Variant is 110g in weight and has a longer than standard 90mm long handle
The adjustment setting works very smoothly and throughout the standard of engineering is exceptionally high

The bottom plate comprises the Tatara “T” slots to guide the blade and a hole in the middle of the plate configured to receive the cap and engage with the handle

Due to the geometry between the top cap and the bottom plate, when the razor is assembled, the blade will deform and achieve a certain blade angle

The closed comb plate is our smoothest option and the most popular. It is designed with small grooves along the edges of the plate giving less blade exposure to the skin
