The bottom plate comprises the Tatara “T” slots to guide the blade and a hole in the middle of the plate configured to receive the cap and engage with the handle

Due to the geometry between the top cap and the bottom plate, when the razor is assembled, the blade will deform and achieve a certain blade angle

The closed comb plate is our smoothest option and the most popular. It is designed with small grooves along the edges of the plate giving less blade exposure to the skin

This TATARA Muramasa Adjustable Safety Razor is a highly efficient safety razor that allows you to choose between a smoother or more aggressive shave

This intuitive mechanism offers five pre-set levels with the option to adjust between each one. The very mild level-1 configuration is ideal for more sensitive skin or shorter facial hair — perfect if you’re transitioning away from cartridge razors or you prefer a milder shave.
